We would like to wish all our families a very safe and happy holiday.
School will resume on:
Tuesday January 27 - School Development Day for staff - no students
Wednesday January 28 - Students in Years 1 -6 return to school
Thursday January 29 - Kindergarten students begin
Goodbye and Good Luck to our graduating Year 6 students - we will miss you!

Kindergarten Orientation Day

The children starting Kindergarten at our school in 2009 visited for the morning yesterday and joined with our present Kindergarten and Mrs Ritchie. We look forward to them joining us in 2009.

Happy Holidays!

Today is the last day of Term 3.

Everyone returns to school on Monday October 15.

Exeter Athletics Carnival

What fun everyone had at our carnival yesterday, especially the novelty events!

Bong Bong Athletics Long Jump

We have received the following advice from Avoca P.S. regarding the long jump:

There will be NO competitive LONG JUMP on the day of the carnival.
The Junior, 11yr, Senior Long Jumps will be held at Avoca PS on the following Monday 30th June. Juniors will jump from 9.30am, 11yrs - 10.00am, Seniors - 10.30am.

'Barber of Seville'

OzOpera visited the school today and we enjoyed
a marvellous performance of 'The Barber of Seville'.
Children from Sutton Forest P.S. joined us.

'Tigramuna' Musica Viva

'Tigramuna' visited our school today as part of our Musica Viva program. Students from Sutton Forest & Penrose schools joined us. It was lots of fun!

Bong Bong Soccer Gala

Our whole school participated in the Bong Bong Small Schools Soccer Gala Day organised by Penrose School at Eridge Park in Bowral last Friday. As usual, our kids had a great time learning skills and competing.

Possum Magic Excursion

Children from Kinder and Years 1, 2 & 3 travelled to Canberra to attend a performance of "Possum Magic" at the Canberrra Theatre Centre. This was followed by their own special 'Possum Magic' picnic at Weston Park, Yarralumla where they ate vegemite sandwiches, lamingtons and meringues. As you can see, they had a fantastic time.
