Exeter's Open Day - Wednesday

We would like to invite everyone to our Education Week Open Day this Wednesday, August 4.

All classrooms will be open to visitors from 9:30 am until 10:30.

This will be followed by a fun Science Day with children moving in groups between five activities. Parents are welcome to tag along with their children for these activities.

We look forward to seeing many visitors to our school on Wednesday.

Tomorrow we are having a visiting performance by Oz Opera - 'The Sound Garden'. Sutton Forest and Penrose schools will join us for this event.

Exeter's Biggest Morning Tea

It is a while since we posted anything on our blog - sorry for the silence!

Our SRC, along with Mrs Mac, organised a fantastic Biggest Morning Tea for the Cancer Council. We had many visitors to our French Cafe during the morning. They were served very efficiently and colourfully by our SRC 'team' of wait staff.

We raised $1,1,25 for the Cancer Council which is a great result. Thank you to all who helped with this fundraiser, either by baking goodies to sell or by coming and buying them.

Wet & Wild?

Our students from Years 4, 5 & 6 are in Sydney for 2 days. It is a bit wet but they are still enjoying their time with the wildlife at the Zoo. They slept with the animals last night after visiting the airport for a Tarmac tour and walking across the Harbour Bridge.Today they are visiting the Sydney Aquarium. They should all sleep well tonight when they get home!

Photos coming soon.
